Recognized by the International Olympic Committee, The World Games 2022 in Birmingham, AL represented the pinnacle of competition for 3,600 of the world’s best athletes in 33 unique, multi-disciplinary sports. The World Games generated worldwide exposure for participating sports and provided a highly visible stage on which athletes from more than 100 countries competed for gold.

Hammerfest was held Birmingham over St. Patrick’s Day weekend for several years. USA CRITS D1 professional cycling teams from all over the US raced through the streets of downtown Birmingham, but this exciting, fast-paced criterium racing was not just for the pros. Amateurs and juniors tackled the same course and put their skills to the test. This FREE, unique weekend included something for all ages with a kid’s zone, community hour, dog parade, beer gardens and more!

Eventive Sports and the City of Birmingham caught lightning in a bottle, not once, but four times.
World Boxing Council Heavyweight Champion, Deontay Wilder – Alabama born and bred, always wanted to fight close to home. His management company, along with Eventive Sports and the city of Birmingham teamed up to make it happen – not once, but four times, all Deontay victories. Each of these fights was broadcast worldwide. With our unmatched event experience and the pride we take in all aspects of event management, it’s no wonder why all three of these championship bouts were markedly successful.

BIRMINGHAM-JEFFERSON CONVENTION COMPLEX

In 2017, Eventive Sports was honored to partner with the USTA to bring the Davis Cup Quarterfinal Tie to Birmingham, Alabama. As a company with a long history with the greater Birmingham area and deep ties to the City’s venues and personnel, we were able to leverage those relationships to bring this world-class event to the BJCC. Eventive Sports served as the “boots on the ground”; working closely with the USTA on their vast array of needs for multiple ancillary event venues as well as the BJCC for the actual Tie. We worked with the USTA to determine ticket sections and price points that would serve the needs of the attendees best. We provided strategic input on hospitality options at the event, coordinating all of the logistics of the ancillary events. BET also managed the marketing for the event, including the digital, outdoor, radio and TV.
