The Bruno’s Memorial Classic, which later became the Regions Charity Classic, was the first Champions Tour event for the Birmingham-Hoover metropolitan area, and donated over $11 million for charity through 2010. On August 23, 2010 the Regions Charity Classic became a major championship on the PGA TOUR Champions and is now called the Regions Tradition. The tournament is played annually at Greystone Golf & Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama. To date, the tournament has raised more than $17 million for charity.
